Tibet House was founded by a Tibetan family based in Melbourne, Australia in dedication to the maintenance & preservation of Tibetan culture, and to support and raise awareness of issues concerning Tibet.

Tibet House's ethic is to support locals in preserving their century old traditions by buying locally produced goods. Most of our products are uniquely handmade by people with patience and creativity and it makes us feel good to help them find freedom from poverty. Our relation with the locals is more than just business.

Tibet House also provides help for the needy in the foothills of Himalaya. A portion of the proceeds from the merchandise goes to support a number of underprivileged and those living in poverty.v
